Confidential, independent advice

Funeral link are a registered charity with no direct link to Dundee City Council or any funeral directors and our support is focused entirely on those who need our help. Conversations are confidential and at a time of bereavement we promise to treat everyone with kindness, compassion and understanding. Funeral link acknowledges that we all have unique wishes, expectations and questions at this time of loss so if we don't immediately have the answers we will do our very best to find them for you.

Help to apply for funeral benefits

Many funeral directors and money advice organisations currently assist the bereaved to apply for the Funeral Expenses Payment which can help pay for burial or cremation fees, funeral transport and death certificates or other documents. You can also get up to £700 for other funeral expenses including funeral director's fees, flowers or the coffin. Our team are always happy to assist with the applications.
