A walk in the park...

Doreen went for a walk to check up on the tree we planted and dedicated last year and shares this update:

'This is the beautiful setting in Baxter’s Park, of our tree of remembrance. It was planted last year in memory of those we have loved and lost.  This particular spot was chosen because it is set back from the path, it is secluded and quiet and the perfect place to reflect or just enjoy the tranquil setting.  I visited the tree yesterday and was so overwhelmed by the beauty that I wanted to share this with everyone.  If you need peace and a place to be by yourself or just have quiet time with your loved ones then this truly is the spot.  I did leave with a feeling of happiness and contentment.

We are reassured that despite the brown colour the tree is very much alive, it is in transplant shock, and will gain its green leaves again soon!'

Doreen also took a video whilst she was at the tree and you can hear from listening to it here just how peaceful it sounded.
